The Centre for Women & Gender Studies, Techno India University, West Bengal is organising a National Conference titled “Intersecting Identities: Rethinking Gender Status in Contemporary Society” on 6–7 March 2026 in hybrid mode. Offline participation is mandatory for residents of Kolkata, North & South 24 Parganas, and Howrah.

About the University:

Established in 2012 under the WB State Legislature Act, Techno India University is the first private university of West Bengal. With a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary learning, ethical values, and innovation, the University is committed to building a sustainable, knowledge‑driven society.

About the Centre for Women & Gender Studies:

Inaugurated on 16 March 2023, the Centre promotes equity, inclusion, and empowerment through interdisciplinary education and research. Its focus areas include:

Call for Papers:

Original and unpublished scholarly contributions are invited. Selected papers will be considered for publication in an edited volume by Raunaq Publication.

  • Review Articles (5,000–7,000 words)
  • Research Articles (3,000–5,000 words)
  • Short Commentaries (1,000–1,500 words)
  • Abstract Limit: 300 words

  • Acceptance Notification: 18 February 2026
  • Full Paper Submission: 2 March 2026
