5th Annual Virtual Moot Court Competition 2026 by The Amikus Qriae (TAQ)
About the Event
The 5th Annual Virtual Moot Court Competition aims at PAN-India participation from law students from various universities. Being associated with eminent legal luminaries, professional visionaries, prominent law firms, and acclaimed independent legal practitioners, the 5th Edition will be celebrated, primarily focusing on encouraging the skills of budding lawyers and promoting their competence.

About the Organisers
The Amikus Qriae (TAQ) is a legally recognized organization registered under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, registered with the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.
TAQ is among India’s leading legal education platforms, connecting over 20,000 law students across 80+ law schools. The organization is committed to advancing legal education through academic competitions, publications, legal awareness initiatives, and research opportunities.
Eligibility
Any student pursuing a degree in law, either a five-year course, a three-year course or even LLM students from any recognized institution in India, are eligible to participate in the competition. Each team shall consist of a minimum of 2 members (both speakers) and a maximum of 3 members (2 speakers and 1 researcher). We will be permitting a maximum of 4 teams per college to participate.

Every team shall register for the moot competition using the following link:
The fee for the competition shall be INR 3000/- per team, paid during registration. The screenshot of the payment receipt shall be attached to the Google form. 4 Teams Per University can participate in this Competition.

NOTE: Every Participating Teams would get confirmed Virtual/ Physical Internship Opportunities & Free of cost Publications Opportunities in reputed National, International Law Journals & Leading Book Publications House & other legal portals for all team members irrespective of their ranks in the competition.
Prizes worth up to Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty-thousand rupees) will be awarded to specific prize holders and distinguished contestants.
1. The Winning Team will be awarded a cash prize of INR 12,000, along with a paid internship opportunity at a prestigious law firm or chamber. Additionally, the team will receive a complimentary publication opportunity in a reputed law journal/law book, a one-year subscription to a leading legal research platform, a subscription to a legal AI platform, and complimentary access to courses offered by our knowledge and supporting partners.
2. The Runner – Up Team shall be awarded with a prize money of INR 10,000/- along with a paid prestigious Law Firm/Chamber and free publication opportunity in a reputed law journal/law book. They shall also be awarded with a six-month subscription to a leading legal research platform, a subscription to a legal AI platform and access to free courses by our knowledge/supporting partners.
3. The Second Runner – Up Team shall be awarded with a prize money of INR 2,000/- alongwith a complimentary book publication/law journal opportunity in a reputed law journal/law book, a subscription to a legal AI platform and access to discounted courses by our partners.
4. The Third Runner – Up shall be awarded with complimentary book publication/law journal opportunity in a reputed law journal/law book, and access to discounted courses by our partners.
5. The Best Memorial shall be awarded with a prize money of INR 2,000/- along with a complimentary book/journal publication, a subscription to a legal AI platform and a six month subscription to a leading legal research platform.
6. The Best Speaker shall be awarded with a prize money of INR 2,000/- along with a complimentary book/journal publication opportunity and a six month subscription to a leading legal research platform, a subscription to a legal AI platform .
7. The Best Researcher shall be awarded with a prize money of INR 2,000/-, along with prestigious internship opportunity and a complimentary publication opportunity in a reputed law journal/book publication and a six-month subscription to a leading legal research platform, and subscription to a legal AI platform.
8. The Semi-finalists shall be awarded complimentary publication opportunity in reputed law journals/book publications, along with access to discounted courses offered by our partners and subscription to a legal AI platform.
9. The Top 8 teams that would qualify for quarter final rounds shall be awarded internship opportunities with reputed legal organizations, along with discounted publication opportunities in a reputed law journal/book publication and subscription to a legal AI platform.
