Internship Opportunity | Office of HMJ Sanjay Karol | Judge | Supreme Court of India | Submissions on Rolling Basis
Justice Sanjay Karol (b. August 23, 1961, Garli, Himachal Pradesh) studied at St. Edwards School, Shimla, and Himachal Pradesh University, earning degrees in law and arts. He practiced in Delhi and other High Courts before becoming Advocate General of Himachal Pradesh (1998–2003) and was designated Senior Advocate in 1999. Elevated to the Himachal Pradesh High Court in 2007, he served over 11 years, including as Acting Chief Justice. He later became Chief Justice of Tripura High Court (2018) and Patna High Court (2019–2023), also leading respective Legal Services Authorities and Law Universities. On February 6, 2023, he was appointed Judge of the Supreme Court of India.
