Internship Opportunity @ Niti Manthan Center for Investigative Legal Journalism, Delhi: DeadlineJuly 26
It is an initiative to motivate and inspire young students on various socio-legal themes and to guide them traverse the righteous path throughout the endeavour of their personal and professional lives.
By having a direct interaction and by exchange of views with experienced legal minds, it is hoped that the young law students and scholars will be immensely benefitted.
To catalyze the holistic and rational thinking faculties among the law-students and to bridge the gap between the legal scholarship, academia and the professionals, Niti Manthan stands committed.
Started with monthly lecture series and research projects, Niti Manthan has now started specialized research centers dealing with various aspects of law and policy. The Niti Manthan center for Investigative Legal Journalism is one such research center, which is currently at an establishing stage.
The work shall be majorly empirical in nature. It shall focus on legal practice and not just theories on law. Understanding the law in motion and get the first-hand experience of legal rules as they are applied in the real world.
Only if you wish to learn the law in practice, intricacies of digging out reality and up for an adventure, the work shall be suitable for you.
2 research associates (preferably having prior experience in this field) and
3 Research interns.
Office at North Avenue, New Delhi and Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, New Delhi
It is going to be a continuous project.
Internship through this call shall start from 1st week of August 2019.
Apart from ground reality check, an adventure of investigation and learning the law from first-hand experience, perks like certificate and exposure to work with the state executive, advisers to the government, etc shall be provided.
Initially, no stipend shall be provided.
