The National Centre for Law and Administration (NCLA), part of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, is inviting applications for its 4‑week fully funded academic internship. This programme is designed to provide law students with an immersive experience at the intersection of law and public administration.

About the Organisation

The NCLA is dedicated to enhancing the legal acumen of civil servants through focused legal education, training programmes, and research. It engages with statutes, constitutional provisions, and judicial pronouncements to strengthen governance and administrative frameworks.

About the Opportunity

This internship offers final‑year law students the chance to:

• Assist faculty members in teaching, research, and related activities.
• Gain exposure to the practical application of law in administrative processes.
• Experience the functioning of India’s premier civil services training institution.

Programme Details

• Duration: 4 weeks (options starting 28 September, 26 October, 23 November, or 21 December 2026)
• Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Accommodation & Meals: Fully covered by LBSNAA

Eligibility

• Open exclusively to meritorious final‑year law students.

Selection Process

• Candidates will be selected based on achievements such as:
  • Winner or Runner‑up in a National‑Level Moot Court Competition, or
  • Merit demonstrated through scholarly publications carrying royalty.
