HS Legal is offering 4 to 8 weeks intensive internship program to undergraduate law students from various recognized law universities across the country on a rolling basis.

The intern will be expected to assist the office with legal research, drafting, filings, etc. The intern may also be expected to take instructions from the clients, brief senior lawyers, and attend court proceedings.

The interns will have to submit a mandatory unpublished piece of research work at the conclusion of the internship on the topic allotted by the internship supervisor. The intern may also be asked to present the research work over Google Meet.

The office is about 100 meters from Moolchand Metro Station.

Eligibility

The program is open for application from law students who are in 3^rd/4^th/5th year of their Five-Year Integrated Course and 2^nd/3rd year of their Three-Year LLB Course.

Tenure of Engagement

The internship shall be for a minimum of 4 weeks for interns who will be working in the office and 8 weeks for those working remotely. The internship period may be extended at the request of the intern only after the approval of the internship supervisor.

Relevant Details

The Candidates shall be assessed based on the following parameters:

• Working Knowledge of IBC, Company Law, Civil Procedure Code, Limitation Act, Arbitration Act, Constitution, MSMED Act, RERA, and PMLA.
• Performance in exams (CGPA + Rank)
• Performance in moots, debates, conferences, courses, etc.
• Quality of legal research and writing
• Positions of responsibility held before

The shortlisted Candidates shall be called for a virtual interview. The successful candidates shall be offered internship, the period of which shall be as per the mode of internship.
