About India International Disputes Week (IIDW)

The International Commercial Arbitration Moot is being conducted under the banner of India International Disputes Week (IIDW) 2027.

The moot builds upon the success of the inaugural edition of IIDW, which was held in Chandigarh in March 2026 and marked the launch of the Chandigarh International Arbitration Centre (CIAC) under the aegis of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana.

The first edition attracted leading Indian and international dispute resolution practitioners and featured prominent law firms, including Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. and Khaitan & Co., among its valued partners.

IIDW seeks to strengthen India’s position as a global arbitration destination by fostering dialogue, scholarship, and professional engagement in international dispute resolution.
