About the University:

Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur, established to advance excellence in legal education and research, invites applications for Contractual/Ad‑hoc Faculty Positions for a period of 11 months.

Positions Available:

1. Assistant Professor of Law
   • Vacancies: 12 (05 UR, 03 OBC Maharashtra, 02 SC Maharashtra, 02 ST Maharashtra)
   • Specializations Preferred: Criminal Law, Corporate Law, Constitutional Law, Labour Laws, Taxation, Administrative Law
   • Consolidated Pay: ₹65,000 per month (inclusive of EPF contributions)
2. Assistant Professor of Sociology
   • Vacancies: 01 (UR)
   • Consolidated Pay: ₹65,000 per month

Application Fee:

• Unreserved Candidates: ₹1,500 + GST ₹270 = ₹1,770
• Reserved & Specially Abled Candidates: ₹1,000 + GST ₹180 = ₹1,180

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree with 55% marks or equivalent grade in relevant subject from an Indian/foreign university
• Must have cleared NET/SET/SLET or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations (2009/2016)
• Candidates with Ph.D. from top‑500 ranked foreign universities (QS/THE/ARWU) are also eligible
• Preference for candidates with degrees or teaching experience at National Law Universities or reputed foreign institutions

• Selection based on interview performance; shortlisting will consider academic score as per University Service Regulations, 2022
• Appointment initially for 11 months, extendable up to 2 years based on performance
