National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal Kerwa Dam Road, Bhopal – 462044 (M.P.)
Applications are invited in the prescribed form for the following academic positions on a regular basis as per University rules and UGC Regulations, 2018.
Academic Positions:
Professor of Law – 4 Posts
Associate Professor of Law – 5 Posts
Assistant Professor of Law – 8 Posts
Indicative Specializations: Alternative Dispute Resolution, Socio‑legal Studies, Sports Laws, Law of Torts, Criminology, Criminal Laws, Environmental Law, Gender Law & Justice, Cyber Crime, Cyber Law, Cyber Security, Insurance & Banking Laws, Transport Law, and allied areas.

Eligibility Criteria:
Assistant Professor:
Master’s degree in relevant discipline with 55% marks or equivalent.
Must have cleared UGC NET/CSIR NET/SLET/SET, OR hold a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations (2009/2016).
Candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to July 11, 2009, may be exempted from NET subject to specific conditions.
Ph.D. from a top‑500 ranked foreign university also eligible.
Desirable: Doctorate/Post‑Doctorate in relevant area.
Associate Professor:
Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor.
At least 7 publications in reputed/peer‑reviewed journals or book chapters.
Minimum research score of 75 as per UGC 2018 Regulations.
Professor:
Eminent scholar with Ph.D. and minimum 10 publications in reputed journals/books.
Minimum 10 years teaching/research experience with evidence of guiding doctoral candidates.
OR Outstanding professional with Ph.D. and 10 years’ experience in relevant discipline.
Minimum research score of 120 as per UGC 2018 Regulations.
Pay & Appointment:
Pay fixation as per 7th Pay Commission Academic Pay Levels notified by UGC.
Appointment on regular basis as per University rules.
Allowances as per University regulations.
