The Companies must make sure that the use of raw materials, energy is reduced to the minimum extent and also the disposal of waste is done in the most efficient and safe manner. Irrespective of whether a company is polluting or not polluting, protection of environment should be the concern of every socially responsible organisation. Each company must take steps to make sustainable use of resources, establish a healthy and safe working environment, maintain ecological balance, take proactive steps to minimise waste generation and ultimately protect the environment.
