The NHRC Annual English Journal, first published in 2002, is a flagship initiative under Section 12(h) of the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993. It serves as a platform for academicians, policymakers, researchers, and domain experts to contribute to human rights discourse in India and globally.

- Health & Mental Health, Business & Human Rights, Right to Food, Right to Education
- Rights of Seafarers, Water Sanitation & Hygiene, Right to Privacy, Good Governance
- Rise of Social Media & its Impact, Human Trafficking
Guidelines for Authors:
- Originality: Only unpublished, original work accepted.
- Language: English only (no translations).
- Plagiarism: Turnitin report required; similarity index <10%.
- AI Usage: AI-generated content will be rejected.
- Word Limit: ≤3000 words (including footnotes).
- Referencing: APA 7th Edition format.
- Formatting: Cambria font, British spellings, justified text, 1.5 line spacing.
- Honorarium: ₹10,000 per published article (shared among co-authors if applicable).
- Copyright: Articles become intellectual property of NHRC.
