The Centre for Regulatory Studies (CRS) at National Law University, Delhi invites submissions for the inaugural edition of its flagship journal, the Law Economics and Policy Review (LEPR).

About CRS:

The CRS was established to strengthen India’s regulatory capacity and advance scholarship in law, economics, and policy. Founded under the leadership of Dr. M.S. Sahoo (former Chairperson, IBBI) and currently directed by Dr. Raghav Pandey, CRS integrates law, economics, management, accountancy, and behavioural sciences to address contemporary governance challenges.

About LEPR:

LEPR is dedicated to publishing high-quality, original scholarship from students, academicians, policymakers, and practitioners. The journal focuses on India’s regulatory framework while encouraging global perspectives, aiming to foster critical analysis and interdisciplinary discourse.

Themes for Submission:

Submissions are welcome under the broad umbrella of Regulatory Studies, Law, and Economics, including:

  • Technology Law, Data Governance & AI Regulation
  • Pharmaceutical & Health Law
  • Telecommunications & Media Law
  • Administrative Law & Regulatory Governance
  • Banking & Financial Regulation
  • Competition Law & Anti-Trust
  • Corporate Law & Governance
  • Environmental Law & Policy
  • Insolvency & Bankruptcy Law
  • International Trade & Investment Law
  • Securities Law & Capital Markets

Submission Guidelines:

  • Deadline: 15th March 2026
  • Length: 4,000–10,000 words (exclusive of abstract & footnotes). Guest authors may exceed this limit.
  • Abstract: Not more than 500 words.
  • Referencing: OSCOLA (4th Edition). Hyperlink sources wherever possible; footnotes required if unavailable.
  • Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), A4 size, Times New Roman/Garamond, 1.5 spacing, 1-inch margins.
  • Originality: Submissions must be unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere. Similarity score must be below 15%.
  • Author Details: Manuscripts must be anonymized; author information to be provided separately.
  • AI Policy: AI tools may only be used for language editing, formatting, or citation assistance. Substantive content must be original.

Editorial Process:

  • Tier 1: Preliminary Review by Assistant Editors (compliance check within 72 hours).
  • Tier 2: Substantive Review by Associate & Senior Editors (major/minor revisions possible).
  • Tier 3: Final Review by Editor-in-Chief & Faculty Editors (acceptance/rejection).

Authors retain the right to publish modified versions elsewhere with due attribution to LEPR.
