About the Journal:

The International Journal of Law and Policy Review (IJLPR) [ISSN (O): 2278‑3156] was established in 2012 under the patronage of NUJS Kolkata, founded by Prof. Madhav Menon. Managed by the Centre for Legal and Constitutional Jurisprudence (CELCJ), IJLPR is an open‑access online e‑journal that disseminates legal scholarship and policy research globally.

Its mission is to provide a platform for students, academicians, and professionals to share original, unpublished, and contemporary research in law and allied disciplines.


Submission Categories:

  • Segment 1 – Long Article:
    • Topic: Law and policy
    • Minimum length: 12,000 words (including footnotes)
  • Segment 2 – Special Article:
    • Topic: Law and legal research
    • Minimum length: 6,000 words (including footnotes)
  • Segment 3 – Short Article:
    • Topic: Law and policy
    • Minimum length: 3,000 words (including footnotes)

Submission Guidelines:

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Submissions should be in MS Word format.
  • Citation Style: Bluebook (20th Edition).
  • Formatting: Times New Roman, 12‑point font, 1.5 line spacing; footnotes in 10‑point font, single spacing.
  • Each manuscript must include:
    • Title page with author details (name, designation, institution, contact information).
    • Abstract (250–300 words).
    • Keywords (4–6 words).
  • Authors must ensure plagiarism below 10%; excessive plagiarism will lead to rejection.
  • The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit, review, or reject submissions.

  • Deadline: Rolling submissions accepted until July 2026 for Volume 15, Issue 2.
  • Eligibility: Open to law students, researchers, academicians, and legal professionals worldwide.
  • Special Consideration: Manuscripts demonstrating originality and contemporary relevance may receive priority.
