Call for Papers for NLIU Bhopal’s Journal for Legislative Drafting and Parliamentary Research (JLDPR) (Volume IV). Submission Deadline: 31st December 2025.
NLIU-CPS is pleased to invite original and unpublished manuscripts for publication in its annual journal, NLIU Journal for Legislative Drafting and Parliamentary Research (JLDPR). This edition of the annual journal seeks to secure collaboration between students, research scholars, and professionals interested in international law, from across the world.
The National Law Institute University is a premier law school, and a centre for research located in Bhopal, India. Established in 1997 by the State of Madhya Pradesh, it is one of the first three law schools to have been established under the National Law University system. Since its inception, NLIU has earned a reputation as a premier institution providing quality legal education and engaging in research in cutting-edge areas of law. In its journey, the university has carved out a niche for itself in terms of academic excellence and the successful placement of its students. Today, NLIU stands as one of the most reputed legal institutions in India and is consistently rated as one of the best law universities in the country.
The Centre has been established with the objective of promoting advanced learning in constitutional law, public policy research, and legislative drafting. CPS seeks to engage itself in academic discourse and research projects on contemporary public policy issues. The Centre also aims to become an instrumental organization in the holistic development of the Indian legal system by aiding the participants in acquainting themselves with important aspects of the profession.
The Journal is an annual, double-blind, peer-reviewed publication of CPS. It aims to generate interest in the realm of constitutional law, administrative law, and public policy research. The Journal fosters academic discussions on areas related to constitutional law, administrative law, parliamentary studies and public policy.
The foreword for our inaugural edition was written by Justice Sanjay Karol, Judge, Supreme Court of India. The inaugural edition of the Journal was released on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of the founding NLIU by the Director of the National Judicial Academy, Justice A.P. Sahi. The Commencement Note for the 2 nd edition was written by Padma Shri Dr. T.K. Viswanathan.
JLDPR welcomes original, contemporary, analytical, and unpublished manuscripts on constitutional law, legislative drafting, parliamentary research, and public policy from students, academicians, and professionals. The submissions are expected to be of contemporary relevance and must demonstrate high standards of academic scholarship.

The submissions are to be made only in Microsoft Word Format (.docx or .doc files) by filling the given form. Soft copies should be submitted by 31 December 2025.
The deadline to submit the manuscripts is 31st December 2025 (11:59 PM, Indian Standard Time).
