Call for Blogs-UPES Society for Constitutional Law & Human Rights- Submissions on Rolling Basis

The Society for Constitutional Law and Human Rights (SCLHR), founded on August 15, 2018, at the UPES School of Law in Dehradun, is a student-led forum dedicated to promoting research, increasing students’ ability to interpret the law in light of changing circumstances, raising awareness of issues concerning Comparative Constitutional Law and Human Rights, and making the Constitution and Human Rights a priority.

SCLHR encourages papers from students, academics, academicians, and legal practitioners on a continuous basis to foster discussion and research on Constitutional Law and Human Rights.

Relevant Themes

SCLHR encourages any papers relating to static and contemporary topics in Constitutional Law and Human Rights, such as legislative analysis, analysis of recent decisions, and comparative analysis with other legal jurisdictions and constitutional frameworks.

Relevant Guidelines

• The submission must be an original and unpublished work. Submissions having more than 15% plagiarism will be rejected. 
• The content should be free from all grammatical and spelling errors.
• The body of the content must be in the following format:
  • Font Style: ‘Times New Roman’,o Font Size: 12
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Alignment: Justified
• Word limit – 1200 to 1800 words (inclusive of endnotes).
• Co-authorship of maximum 1 person is permitted.
• The manuscript should not contain the name of the student, course/batch, year of study, contact number and email ID.
• Hyperlinks are encouraged as opposed to endnotes. However, if the article contains a source that cannot be linked, please use Bluebook 19th edition as the citation style in the endnotes. 
• The endnotes must be in the following format:
  • Font Style: ‘Times New Roman’
  • Font size: 10
  • Line Spacing: 1.0
  • Alignment: Justified
• Submissions will be screened for plagiarism and the Editorial Team of the SCLHR reserves the right to suggest improvements in author(s) work including grammar, spelling, formatting and also to add/subtract part(s) which could make the work more appealing.
• Submissions must be made in (.doc/.docx) formats only.
• Authors should name the file as “SCLHR Blog_Title”. 

Information in General
Submissions to the SCLHR are being accepted on a rolling basis.

Following submission, each manuscript will be subjected to two internal reviews by the SCLHR Editorial team.

Acceptance of any submission shall be at the exclusive discretion of SCLHR.

The status of publication/rejection will be communicated to the author(s) within 7-10 working days of the submission’s receipt.
