Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University (DBRANLU), established in 2012 under the Haryana Act No. 15 of 2012, stands as the only National Law University in Haryana. In 2014, the institution was renamed to honour Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of India’s Constitution and a pioneering social reformer. Located in Rajiv Gandhi Educational City, Rai, Sonepat, DBRANLU benefits from a vibrant academic environment with over thirteen renowned institutions in close proximity. The DBRANLU Law Review Blog is the flagship peer‑reviewed platform of the University. It is dedicated to promoting quality interdisciplinary research across law and allied disciplines. More than a repository of legal writing, the blog serves as a dynamic academic space that values integrity, transparency, and scholarly excellence. It seeks to foster academic brilliance by encouraging contributions that reflect upon the Indian legal fraternity and judicial systems worldwide.

Scope:

The Blog welcomes submissions that are interdisciplinary in nature, covering contemporary issues in law and related fields such as Sociology, Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Comparative Constitutional Studies, Economics, and Technology.

Objectives:

The DBRANLU Law Review Blog aims to:

  1. Promote original, high‑quality work backed by logic and reason.
  2. Keep pace with contemporary developments in law and allied disciplines.
  3. Provide a forum for scholars, academicians, students, and researchers to contribute to legal literature.
  4. Encourage an interdisciplinary approach to research and writing.
  5. Disseminate knowledge through high‑quality publications.
  6. Uphold academic freedom in all its activities.

Call for Blogs:

The Research and Publications Committee invites submissions to the DBRANLU Law Review Blog. Contributions may include articles, case comments, research pieces, and opinion essays, provided they engage meaningfully with legal issues. Submissions are evaluated on originality, clarity, coherence, judicial trend analysis, and cross‑domain insights. Purely descriptive writing may be rejected.

Eligibility:

  • Students pursuing a 3‑year LL.B., 5‑year LL.B., or LL.M. from any recognized institution are eligible to submit.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Word Limit: 1200–1500 words (longer pieces may be accepted at the Editorial Board’s discretion).
  • Format: Word document (.doc/.docx), Times New Roman, 12 pt., 1.5 line spacing.
  • Referencing: Authorities must be hyperlinked; footnotes/endnotes discouraged unless essential.
  • Co‑authorship: Permitted up to two authors.
  • Originality: Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Similarity index above 10% will lead to rejection.
  • Confidentiality: Manuscripts must not contain personal information of authors.
  • Copyright: All rights vest with The DBRANLU Law Review Blog.
  • AI Usage: Manuscripts with heavy AI usage will be summarily rejected.
  • Communication: Confirmation within 3–4 business days; acceptance/rejection within four weeks.

Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
