CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: ACADEMIC FELLOW (CRIMINAL LAW)

National Law University Delhi is inviting applications for 01 (one) Academic Fellow.

Responsibilities:
The Academic Fellow shall be expected to assist research work, in relevant areas in consultation
with the University. They shall also be expected to contribute other academic/ administrative
pursuits in the University. The work involved will require excellent research and writing skills in the area of Criminal Law.

Eligibility:

1. LL.M. with specialisation in Criminal Law/allied subjects from a recognised Indian or
   foreign university with minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale
   wherever grading system is followed), and a good academic record.
2. Demonstrable research track record in Criminal law/allied subjects.
3. Prior research experience including field work and data collection is highly desirable.

Emoluments: Rs.50,000 per month (Subject to TDS deduction @10% under the Income Tax Act)

Nature of Appointment: Contractual and full time for six months (further extendable).

4. Resume, including publications authored or co-authored, if any
5. Writing Sample (co-authored pieces shall not be considered)
6. Copy of undergraduate degree, clearly indicating date and year of graduation
7. Copy of Master’s degree, clearly indicating date and year of graduation
8. Copy of Ph.D. Degree/ Provisional certificate (if any)
9. Experience certificate, if applicable
10. Any other document relevant to this application.
