Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai is a National Law University located at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is the 18th National Law University established in India by The Maharashtra National Law University Act 2014, passed by Maharashtra Legislature under the Maharashtra Act No VI of 2014.
MNLU Mumbai’s Centre for Arbitration & Research is organising its 1st Annual Conference on International Arbitration on 6 December 2019.
The theme is – ‘Practice & Procedure in International Arbitration’ and it will feature 4-panel discussions on the sub-themes of – International Commercial Arbitration, Maritime Arbitration, Sports Arbitration & Investment Arbitration.
The Centre for Arbitration & Research (CAR)’s 1st Annual Conference is intended to be an international conference featuring pre-eminent and eminent experts in the field of arbitration providing their views on the practice and procedure of international arbitration and discussing the various challenges faced in arbitration today.
The conference will be a full-day event featuring 4 panel-discussions on varied themes and a keynote address. It will also serve as the formal inauguration of the Centre, earmarking the launch of the research and training projects to be undertaken by the Centre in the upcoming year.
