The Central University of Karnataka Journal of Legal Studies (CUK Journal of Legal Studies) invites original scholarly submissions for Volume 1, Issue II (2026). The deadline for submission is July 15, 2026.

About the Journal

The CUK Law Review (ISSN Online: 3139-4345 | ISSN Print: 3139-4485) is a biannual, international, double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing discourse in law and allied disciplines. While its primary focus is on contemporary legal issues, it also welcomes interdisciplinary research that establishes clear connections with legal institutions, instruments, and frameworks.

Submission Guidelines

  • Authorship: Co-authorship is permitted up to two authors (maximum three in exceptional cases).
  • Abstract: Each manuscript must include an abstract (150–250 words) with 4–6 keywords, highlighting novelty and conclusions.
  • Anonymity: Manuscripts must not disclose author details. A separate cover letter should include name, designation, institution, email, and phone number(s).
  • File Format: Submissions must be in Word (.doc/.docx) format. PDFs will not be accepted.
  • Declaration: A signed declaration (format available under Forms) must accompany submissions.
  • Submission Portal: All manuscripts must be submitted via the official form under Submit Here.
  • Queries: For submission difficulties, authors may contact the Executive Editor.

Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12
  • Spacing: 1.5 line spacing
  • Alignment: Justified, margins 0.5 inches
  • Headings:
    • Main Headings: Bold, Capital Letters
    • Sub-Headings: Roman numerals, bold, small case
    • Sub-sub Headings: Italics
  • Page Numbers: Not to be included
  • Citations: APA referencing style; both in-text and expanded references accepted.
  • Sources: Only authentic and verified sources permitted; avoid blogs or unverified publications.
  • Figures/Tables: Centrally aligned, titled below, and cited via footnotes. Self-created visuals must be marked as “self-created.”
