About the Competition:
The Faculty of Law, Kalinga University, Raipur, in collaboration with Surana & Surana International Attorneys, proudly announces the 7th Moot Court Competition – Surana & Surana Judex 4.0 (Human Rights Law Moot Court Competition 2026–2027).
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – Affordable & Clean Energy (SDG 7), Decent Work & Economic Growth (SDG 8), Life on Land (SDG 15), and Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions (SDG 16) – this competition provides a premier platform for law students to engage in advanced advocacy, research, and jurisprudential development in the field of Human Rights Law.
Event Schedule:
- Inaugural Ceremony, Orientation & Draw of Lots (Online): 10 July 2026
- Preliminary Rounds 1 & 2 (Online): 11 July 2026
- Octa/Quarter Finals & Semi‑Finals (On‑Campus): 7 August 2026
- Finals & Valedictory Ceremony (On‑Campus): 8 August 2026

Eligibility & Team Composition:
- Open to undergraduate law students (3‑year/5‑year courses) from recognised universities/institutions.
- Each team must comprise two speakers and one researcher (minimum 2 members).
Registration Details:
- Registration Opens: 13 May 2026
- Registration Closes: 24 June 2026
- Last Date for Fee Payment: 24 June 2026
- Soft Copy Memorial Submission: 1 July 2026
- Hard Copy Memorial Submission (for qualifying teams): 6 August 2026
Registration Fee: ₹2,500 per team
