About the Institution:

Established in 1973 by the Devi Sharvani Education Society, V. M. Salgaocar College of Law (formerly Mahadevrao Salgaocar College of Law) is a premier government‑aided law college located at Miramar, Panaji, Goa. Renamed in 1997, the college is affiliated with Goa University and offers 3‑year LL.B., 5‑year integrated law programmes, and LL.M., all approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Faculty Positions Available:

The College invites applications for the following positions in Law:

• 10 Assistant Professors (Full‑Time Contract Basis) – LL.B. Degree and LL.M. (Self‑Finance)
• 4 Assistant Professors (Lecture Basis)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree in Law with 55% and above in the concerned subject
• NET/SET qualification mandatory
• Scale of pay and service conditions as per Goa University, Directorate of Higher Education, Panaji, and other competent authorities
