About the Journal:

The IILS Law Review (ISSN 2320-5318) is a peer-reviewed journal committed to academic honesty and originality. It provides a platform for the exchange of intellectual ideas and scholarly opinions. The journal is now inviting submissions for Volume XII, Issue 2 (September 2026).

Nature of Contributions:

  • Articles (4,000–6,000 words): Comprehensive analysis of a legal area, with suggestions and conclusions.
  • Notes (up to 2,500 words): Concise arguments on new debates or controversies in law, highlighting contemporary issues and offering solutions.
  • Comments (up to 2,500 words): Critical evaluation of recent landmark judgments, legislations, or bills.
  • Book Reviews (1,800–2,000 words): Analytical review of a book, evaluating its central ideas, style, and relevance, with suggestions for legal updates.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Text: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, justified, 1-inch margins.
  • Title: Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold, centered.
  • Abstract: 200–300 words, italicized, Times New Roman, 12 pt, justified.
  • Keywords: Up to 5.
  • Citation Style: Bluebook (21st Edition). Footnotes only (Times New Roman, 10 pt, single spacing).
  • Co-Authorship: Maximum of two authors. Each must contribute significantly. One corresponding author must be designated.
  • Plagiarism Policy: Up to 10% allowed. Authors must submit a plagiarism report along with the manuscript and declaration form.

Important Dates:

  • Submission Deadline: April 25, 2026 (including abstract).
  • Intimation of Selection: June 20, 2026.
