Call for Papers – Cochin University Law Review (CULR):

The Editorial Board of the Cochin University Law Review (CULR), published by the School of Legal Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kerala, invites original and scholarly contributions for Volume L (January–June 2026), scheduled for release in June 2026.

About the Journal:

• ISSN: 0970-0331
• Frequency: Biannual (January & June)
• Nature: Peer-reviewed, academic law journal
• Recognition: Formerly included in the UGC CARE List
• Audience: Legal educators, researchers, practitioners, and students across India and abroad

CULR is the flagship publication of the School of Legal Studies, CUSAT, committed to publishing high-quality legal scholarship through a rigorous peer-review process.

Categories of Submissions:

• Articles: 6,000–8,000 words
• Notes & Comments: 4,000–6,000 words
• Case Comments: 3,000–4,000 words
• Book Reviews: 2,000–4,000 words

(Word counts are inclusive of footnotes)

Submission Guidelines:

• Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
• Cover Letter: Must include title, author details, contact info, and originality declaration
• Abstract: 250 words
• Anonymity: Manuscripts must be anonymized for blind review
• Co-authorship: Maximum of two authors per submission
• Citation Style: OSCOLA (4th Edition)
• Plagiarism Policy: Strict screening; plagiarism leads to rejection
• Editorial Discretion: Board reserves rights to formatting and space edits
• Review Period: Authors notified within two months of submission deadline

Formatting Requirements:

• Main Text: Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.15 spacing
• Footnotes: Times New Roman, Size 10, single spacing
