About GNLC:

The Government New Law College (GNLC), Indore traces its roots to the historic Holkar Science College, established in 1891. Legal education was first introduced at Holkar College in 1923. In 1961, the Arts, Commerce, and Law faculties were separated to form the Government Arts and Commerce College, with GNLC emerging as a distinguished institution dedicated to legal studies.

About the Competition:

The Moot Court Committee of GNLC, Indore proudly announces the GNLC National Moot Court Competition 2026. Building upon the success of its previous editions, this prestigious event offers law students from across India a dynamic platform to showcase their advocacy skills before Hon’ble Justices, Senior Advocates, and seasoned legal practitioners. The competition has consistently attracted spirited participation from leading law colleges and universities nationwide.

Theme:

“Regulation of Investment Schemes and Criminal Liability”

Central Idea:

“Balancing investor protection, regulatory oversight, and constitutional accountability in unregulated collective investment schemes.”

Eligibility:

  • Open to students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programmes at recognized law universities/colleges.
  • Each institution may send one team only.
  • A team must comprise two speakers and one researcher.

Registration:

Interested candidates can register online through the official link provided at the end of this announcement.

Registration Fee:

  • ₹4,500 per team (with accommodation)
  • ₹3,000 per team (without accommodation)

Accommodation will be provided from 13 March 2026 (12:00 Noon) to 16 March 2026 (Morning).
