North & South On-Campus Rounds

The Surana & Surana Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition 2026-27 is a prestigious national event designed to provide law students with a platform to sharpen their trial advocacy skills, critical thinking, and legal knowledge in a simulated courtroom setting.

Conducted in collaboration with leading law institutions, the competition is aligned with the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023, ensuring participants gain practical exposure to substantive and procedural norms of criminal law.

North Rounds – University of Jammu

  • Dates: 18th – 20th September 2026
  • Venue: Department of Law, University of Jammu, Baba Saheb Ambedkar Road, Jammu Tawi – 180006, Jammu & Kashmir
  • Invitation: Institutions are cordially invited to participate in the Surana & Surana and Department of Law, University of Jammu Trial Advocacy Moot Competition: North Rounds 2026-27.
  • Objective: To enhance advocacy skills, promote healthy competition, and encourage exchange of ideas among law students nationwide.

South Rounds – Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University

  • Dates: 25th – 27th September 2026
  • Venue: School of Excellence in Law, Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Perungudi Campus, MGR Salai, Chennai
  • Objective: To provide law students across southern India with an opportunity to engage in trial advocacy, strengthen their understanding of criminal law jurisprudence, and advance the cause of justice through experiential learning.
