The K.L. Arora Chair in Criminal Law at National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) is a distinguished academic initiative that promotes advanced teaching, research, and dialogue in the field of criminal justice. Established in 2011 by Justice D.P. Wadhwa (Retd.), Supreme Court of India, the Chair honors the legacy of Shri Kundan Lal Arora, Senior Advocate.
Over the years, the Chair has been led by eminent scholars and practitioners including Prof. B.B. Pande, Prof. K. Chockalingam, Prof. G.S. Bajpai, and Mr. Dayan Krishnan, Senior Advocate. At present, it is headed by Dr. Sidharth Luthra, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, continuing its mission of fostering scholarship and public engagement on pressing issues in criminal law.
The Chair invites applications for its Short-Term Internship Programme (December 2025 – January 2026). Interns will work in-person at NLU Delhi, contributing to ongoing research projects and benefiting from a collaborative academic environment.
