Government Law College (GLC), established in 1855, has the distinction of being the oldest Law College in Asia, dating even prior to the University of Mumbai, and enjoys a pre-eminent reputation for excellence in the field of legal education. Government Law College or GLC, as it is popularly known, continues to be an institution exclusively for the students of law.
The 21st edition of the D. M. Harish Memorial Government Law College International Moot Court Competition (DMH) is being hosted by Government Law College, Mumbai, India, in association with the D. M. Harish Foundation.
The Competition is scheduled to be held from 7th – 9th February 2020.
Note: Foreign universities and Indian universities which qualified as quarter-finalists in the previous DMH edition, don’t have to go through the memorial round whereas other Indian universities will first have to submit their memorials and then they will be ranked and selected.
Students enrolled in a full-time or part-time law programme at the time of the competition are eligible to compete in the Competition. Each College/Law School or University may enter one team ONLY.
Each team shall have three (3) members only, consisting of two (2) speakers and one (1) researcher. The certification shall not be awarded to an additional member.
Overseas teams may participate in the Competition by making an application to the Organisers via e-mail to dmh.glc@gmail.com or by post at the following address:

The organisers shall invite ONLY those Indian Universities/Colleges (refer to Annexure I), which had qualified to the Quarter Final Rounds in the 20th D. M. Harish Memorial Government Law College International Moot Court Competition to participate in the competition.
The Registration fee charged for Overseas Universities/Colleges, in accordance with clause 1.4.1, must be submitted by Wire Transfer. The details are given below:
The duly completed Registration form with all team details and Demand Draft/Bankers’ Draft/Wire Transfer must be submitted online to the Moot Court Association on or before 18th December 2019 for teams participating in accordance with clause 1.1. and 1.2. No change in the names of the participants shall be permitted after the receipt of the Registration Form, except at the sole discretion of the Organisers.
The duly completed Registration form with all team details and Demand Draft/Bankers’ Draft/Wire Transfer must be submitted online to the Moot Court Association on or before 13th January 2020 for teams selected in accordance with clause 1.3.3. No change in the names of the participants shall be permitted after the receipt of the Registration Form, except at the sole discretion of the Organisers.
All teams shall be given a ‘‘Team Code’’ by the Organisers on validation of their Registration Form and Demand Draft/Bankers’ Draft/Wire Transfer. The teams shall use their designated “Team Code” for all correspondence with the Organizers.
The same team code must be used by the teams during the submission of Memorials and during all the Rounds of the Competition.
