The Centre for Policies, Laws and Agenda (CPLAN) was founded in 2023 at NUSRL Ranchi as a dynamic think tank working at the intersection of law, policy, and national development. Its mission is to promote research and dialogue in Constitutional Law, Legislative Drafting, and Policy Research, encouraging innovative and inclusive approaches to contemporary governance challenges. Through interdisciplinary projects, workshops, and publications, CPLAN seeks to generate impactful policy solutions and foster informed debate.

Eligibility

  • Open to law students, academicians, researchers, and professionals across disciplines.
  • Co‑authorship permitted for up to two authors.

Submission Guidelines

  • Language: English
  • Format: .doc or .docx (file named “Title_CPLAN_TPC Blog”)
  • Word Limit: 1200–2000 words (flexible at editorial discretion)
  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Analytical pieces with concrete suggestions are preferred over descriptive writing.
  • Include a short bio (max 100 words) separately, not within the manuscript.
  • Relevant images, infographics, or flowcharts may be included if copyright‑free.
  • Cross‑publication is not permitted.

Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Garamond | Size: 12 (main text), 10 (endnotes)
  • Line Spacing: 1.5 (main text), 1.0 (endnotes)
  • Alignment: Justified
  • Referencing: Hyperlinked sources; endnotes (Bluebook 21st Edition) where necessary
  • Italicise names of statutes, case laws, and legal documents

Submission Process

  • Submissions must be made via Google Forms (email submissions not accepted).
  • Rolling submissions are open until 30 September 2026, 11:59 PM.
