The Centre for Study and Research in Intellectual Property Rights, NUSRL Ranchi (CSRIPR) is one of the foremost centres of excellence in the realm of Intellectual Property Law in North India. This Centre was founded in response to an escalating need felt by scientists, lawyers, technologists and companies. The object was, and still is, to gain a thoughtful knowledge in patent, trademarks, design and copyright law. The CSRIPR wishes to gain a better insight and glimpse into new and evolving areas of intellectual property law (such as the protection of software, semi-conductor products and biotechnological inventions, standardisation and technology transfers) and the general problems of patents, trademarks, designs and copyright.
To concertize these objects the CSRIPR will organize a manifold of activities on an interdisciplinary level. These activities include fundamental research the gathering of documentation, organizing conferences and scientific service to the community. By virtue of numerous activities conducted over the course of time, CSRIPR has acquired an established reputation on the national as well as on the international level with students belonging to premier national and international institution joining us for an internship to gain perspective in this realm.
After the successful completion of the first edition of our internship during the month of February 2021 and in furtherance of our objective, CSRIPR has completed multiple internship programmes since then, and now, has come forward with the Fifth edition of its Internship for students of LAW, to help them acquire first-hand experience in the realm of IPR with any other stream integrated with it for the furtherance of knowledge.
