The NLIU Cell for Law and Technology (NLIU-CLT) is a centre at the National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU) which specializes in research, education, and outreach on the intersection of law and technology. The Cell is dedicated to promoting an understanding of legal and policy issues surrounding the use of technology in various sectors such as business, governance, and society.
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is an executive agency of the Union Government of India responsible for information technology (IT) policy, strategy and development of the electronics industry. One of the specific divisions of the Ministry relates to Cyber Laws as well.
The NLIU-CLT Technology and Law Fair: ‘Techtonic’ is a major flagship event organized by the NLIU Cell for Law and Technology annually. It is one of the most sought-after events in the field of technology law. ‘Techtonic 2023’, which is the second edition of NLIU-CLT’s flagship event and one of the major highlights of the Event is the Round Table Conference. Techtonic provides a platform for students, researchers, and practitioners to come together and discuss the latest developments in technology law and its impact on society. The Fair includes a range of activities such as workshops, panel discussions, and competitions that provide participants with an opportunity to gain insights into the legal and policy issues surrounding technology.
Note: 1. Accommodation shall not be provided by the organizers. However, food stalls shall be set-up near the venue. 2. All registered participants would be required to arrive at the venue at least 1 hour prior to the Event to facilitate the registration checking process.
