SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai is organising the Tenth successive year Nyayavalokan: National Trial Advocacy & Judgment Writing Competition, 2019.
The Nyayavalokan: National Trial Advocacy & Judgment Writing Competition provides a unique platform for law students to hone their advocacy and research skills in the form of a criminal trial.
It brings one face to face with the nuances of criminal law while promoting quick thinking and giving a novice a chance to glimpse into the exhilarating realm of trials which consists of the examination of witnesses and evidence amongst other things.
Note: There shall be no submission of memos in this trial competition.
Students of three year and five-year law degree courses from any University/Law School/College/Department are eligible to apply for registration of their team.
Each team shall consist of a minimum of 3 and maximum of 4 members. There can be 2 Speakers and 2 Researchers designated for each team.
The said competition shall be held from October 10th, 2019 to October 13th, 2019 at the SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mithibai College Campus, 8th Floor, Vile Parle (W), and Mumbai – 400056.
Food and accommodation shall be provided by the organizers for the days of the competition.
Each team shall provisionally register at nyayavalokan@gmail.com by 31st August 2019. Acknowledgment shall be sent to the college to confirm its provisional slot.
Note: Participation is restricted to first 20 teams on first come first serve basis. The email should be sent only from an official email id (ie. College email id/MCS id)
The final Registration and Accommodation details, Forms and the Trial Problem along with the Rules and Schedule shall be put up shortly.
