Environmental Law Cell is an active cell of SLSH and was inaugurated by Mr. M.C. Mehta in 2015. The main objective of the Cell is to work for the cause of Sustainable Development by bringing about a change in the campus and the community not only with respect to the environment but also with respect to other related areas like energy, public health, sanitation, hygiene, etc. thereby realizing Sustainable Development Goals

About the Discussion

During this pandemic we have been conducting various activities online to help, save and bring awareness about our environmental surroundings.
Hence, We are pleased to announce that we are successfully hosting our third group discussion this Saturday 10th October 2020, from 3:30 to 4:30 PM

 Topic

The discussion is on the topic “Loss of Marine Life due to Oil Spills and Chemical Explosion”.

The sub-topics which will be discussed are:

1. Impact of oil spills on marine biodiversity.
2. International Measures on Oil Spills.
3. Future of international laws regarding oil spills
