About NFPRC:

The Nation First Policy Research & Change Foundation (NFPRC), through its Centre for Law, Policy and Governance, undertakes both long‑term, peer‑reviewed research and incisive, quick‑turnaround studies to support actionable agendas. Its work assists the Government in:

  • Reviewing outdated policies
  • Designing and implementing new strategies
  • Enhancing the effectiveness of ongoing schemes
  • Conducting impact evaluations to identify gaps and recommend remedial actions

Internship Announcement:

NFPRC is inviting applications for a paid internship to contribute to its flagship project on One Nation One Election (ONOE).

  • Mode: Hybrid
  • Tenure: Initial 2 months, extendable based on performance and project needs
  • Stipend: ₹15,000 per month

About the Project:

The ONOE proposal is under active consideration in India, with constitutional amendment bills and parliamentary scrutiny underway. This project aims to:

  • Study global case studies of synchronised elections
  • Examine how alignment is legally structured, politically managed, and institutionally implemented
  • Generate comparative insights tailored to India’s constitutional and political context

Key Responsibilities:

Selected interns will:

  • Conduct exhaustive country‑specific research on political contexts, constitutional texts, and regulatory ecosystems
  • Analyse primary sources including constitutions, statutes, case law, policy documents, and implementation reports
  • Map ground realities against legal frameworks to identify reform levers
  • Prepare analytical notes, comparative frameworks, and policy outputs
  • Engage with global benchmarks while contextualising findings for India

Eligibility Criteria:

Required Qualifications

  • Students or recent graduates in Law
  • Strong legal reasoning and analytical skills
  • Excellent writing and structuring abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Self‑driven researchers with curiosity and initiative
  • Ability to process vast materials and distill actionable insights
  • Interest in constitutional law, political economy, and governance reforms
