Opportunities for Law Students- Legathon 2022-Addressing Challenges with Innovative Solutions, by ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad- Prizes worth Rs 1 Lac+: Register by Mar 5

The competition is open for students (Law and non-law), professionals, and technologists who have an innovative solution to overcome contemporary legal challenges, both in the private and public sectors.

The competition offers a great opportunity for young talented minds to not only win awards for their creativity but also gives them a chance to incubate with the IIC –IFHE’s business Incubator – and potentially grow into a business operation.

Participation categories

There are two categories of participation:

• NEO category (For Students Only)
• PRO category (For Professionals)

For each of the above mentioned two categories, the Legathon invites participants into any of the three stages mentioned below:

• Stage 1: Ideation stage (idea not yet validated and wish to develop proof of concept)
• Stage 2: Idea validated stage (with Proof of concept ready and wish to develop an MVP)
• Stage 3: Prototype ready (MVP is ready to go to market)

Criteria for Selection

Evaluation criteria will include novelty and clarity of idea, feasibility, practicability, sustainability of the idea, and scale of impact of the idea on the society at large.

Submission Procedure

• One team can submit only one proposal/idea in any category and stage.
• Submission date should be strictly followed. No extension shall be granted.
• Each team should submit their proposal in the prescribed format only.
• Requests for change of proposal/idea after the cut-off date will not be entertained.

Rewards

There are 3 prizes for each stage in each category, thus making a total of 18 prizes
worth over 1 lakh.

• First Prize: Rs. 10,000 per team
• Second Prize: Rs. 5,000 per team
• Third Prize: Rs. 2,000 per Team

Rules- Category Based

Idea validated stage – Participants must have proof of concept ready. Webpage designs, Research materials, etc. must be available at the time of competition.

Prototype ready – Minimum viable product/prototype should be ready while entering the competition.

There is no participation or registration fee.
