Approved by the Bar Council of India, the School of Law at LPU is ranked 26th in NIRF Rankings (Law) 2025. It emphasizes technology-driven learning, advanced legal research, and extensive moot court exposure. Students gain practical training in drafting, mock trials, crime scene investigation, debates, and internships with judicial officers, law firms, and statutory bodies.
The MCS fosters a vibrant mooting culture by organizing intra and inter-university moot court competitions, trial advocacy contests, and international events. Its mission is to nurture future advocates and uphold justice through effective practice of law.
The Gavelled Moot Court Competition is the flagship event of LPU School of Law. The 7th edition (01–03 April 2026) focuses on criminal adjudication in the digital age, examining evidentiary integrity of forensic data, electronic surveillance, and witness testimony. The moot problem challenges participants on issues of procedural fairness, chain of custody, and technological reliability.
