The National Public Interest Litigation Drafting Competition challenges participants to master constitutional advocacy. Rooted in India’s transformative PIL jurisprudence, the event focuses on issues of education, shelter, livelihood, and environment. Students will engage with maintainability, locus standi, and constitutional remedies, sharpening drafting expertise while addressing pressing social justice concerns.
Organised by the Centre for Constitutional Law and Human Rights (CCLHR), this event simulates the Indian Parliamentary system. Participants embody parliamentary figures, deliberate through Question Hour, motions, and legislative proceedings, and sharpen advocacy, leadership, and oratory skills.
Hosted by the Trial Advocacy and Litigation Committee, this competition tests presence of mind and advocacy skills in a simulated courtroom. Participants face spontaneous legal scenarios, responding with arguments, examinations, and objections without prior preparation.
Organised by the Centre of Intellectual Property Law, this premier negotiation competition replicates real-world legal, commercial, and socio-economic conflicts. It tests adaptability, diplomacy, and problem-solving under pressure.
Presented by the Centre for Forensic Science in collaboration with the Trial Advocacy Committee, this event immerses participants in forensic investigation and courtroom litigation. Students identify, collect, and preserve evidence, then argue its admissibility in court.
Organised by the Literary & Debating Committee, this unique debate format requires participants to argue one side of a resolution, then instantly switch to the opposite side. It tests logical consistency, rhetorical sophistication, and adaptability.
Organised by the Centre for Intellectual Property Law, this quiz challenges participants to distinguish groundbreaking inventions from legally unworthy claims. It demands precision, principle, and sharp reasoning under pressure.
Organised by the Centre for Consumer Law and Advocacy, this event sharpens critical thinking and consumer awareness. Participants dissect real-world advertisements to expose misleading claims and deceptive practices, applying consumer protection laws.
