Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) Internship Programme 2026

About TDSAT:

The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) was established in 2000 following amendments to the TRAI Act, 1997, to strengthen the regulatory framework and dispute resolution mechanism in the telecom sector. Over time, its jurisdiction has expanded to include broadcasting, cable services, cyber appellate matters, and airport tariff disputes. Today, TDSAT exercises original and appellate jurisdiction under the TRAI Act, 1997, the Information Technology Act, 2008, and the Airport Economic Regulatory Authority of India Act, 2008.

This makes TDSAT a unique tribunal with authority over telecom, broadcasting, IT, and airport tariff matters, while exercising appellate jurisdiction in cyber law disputes.
