About Hon’ble Justice Sheel Nagu

Justice Sheel Nagu is an eminent Indian jurist serving as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India. Elevated to the Supreme Court on June 2, 2026, his legal career includes practicing at the Madhya Pradesh High Court and serving as the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Justice Nagu was born on January 1, 1965, and enrolled as an advocate in October 1987. Before joining the highest judiciary, he built over three decades of legal expertise specializing in civil and constitutional law.

The Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sheel Nagu is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for a one-month internship programme scheduled from 15th July to 15th August 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students currently enrolled in their 2nd or 3rd year of the three-year LL.B. course.
• Students currently enrolled in their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of the five-year integrated LL.B. course.
