About Justice K. Vinod Chandran:

Born on 25.04.1963. Obtained Law Degree from Kerala Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. Started practice in the year 1991. Served as Special Government Pleader (Taxes) of the Government of Kerala from 2007 to 2011. Sworn-in as Additional Judge of the High Court of Kerala on 08.11.2011. Appointed as Permanent Judge of the High Court of Kerala with effect from 24.06.2013. Elevated as Chief Justice of Patna High Court and took oath in such capacity on 29.03.2023.

Elevated as Judge, Supreme Court of India and took oath on 16.01.2025.

Internship Opportunity:

The Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice K Vinod Chandran, Judge, Supreme Court of India, is inviting applications for its Judicial Internship Programme for the months of August and September 2026.

Eligibility:

Applications are open to law students who meet the following criteria:

• 5‑Year LL.B. Programme: Students in their fourth or final year.
• 3‑Year LL.B. Programme: Students in their second or final year.
