About CTIL:

The Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL) was established in 2016 by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). Its mission is to provide rigorous legal and policy analysis on issues of international trade and investment law, support India’s participation in negotiations and dispute settlement, and build a pool of experts in WTO law, international investment law, and economic integration.

Internship Opportunity at CTIL:

Applications are now open for the Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL) Internship Programme 2025, offering law students a prestigious opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international trade and investment law.

Internship Highlights:

  • Eligibility:
    • Open to undergraduate and postgraduate law students.
    • Preference for students in advanced stages of their degree, especially those who have studied WTO law and public international law.
  • Nature of Work:
