The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, established under the 2006 State Legislature Act, is a premier national institution committed to excellence in legal education, research, and training. With a modern residential campus and over 1000 students, RGNUL provides state-of-the-art facilities and a strong academic environment aimed at holistic growth. The university has set up 19 research centers, including the Center for Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights (CIIPR), to advance socio-legal research and promote innovation. CIIPR focuses on teaching and research in intellectual property law, integrating IPR with diverse fields such as science, technology, and engineering, while fostering awareness among professionals and the public. Guided by its vision of preparing competent lawyers, researchers, administrators, and socially responsible citizens, RGNUL strives to serve society through reforms in legal services. Call for Papers:

Law Mantra Trust invites academicians, researchers, legal professionals, policymakers, and students to participate and share their research papers on the seminar’s theme and sub-themes. Selected papers will be published in an edited book with an ISBN, and the copyrights will remain with the authors and Law Mantra Trust.

Note: The suggested sub-themes are indicative. Authors are welcome to research and present on related topics aligned with their interests.

Procedure for Submission:

Abstract Submission:

  • Abstract of about 250 words to be sent as a Word file attachment.
  • Must include: Name, Designation, Institution, Address, Email ID, and Title of Abstract.
  • Submit to seminarnlus@gmail.com.
  • Abstracts will be peer-reviewed before acceptance.

Paper Submission Guidelines:

  • Title of paper followed by author’s details (Name, Designation, Institution, Email).
  • Co-author details, if any, must also be included.
  • Formatting:
    • Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced.
    • Main Title: FULL CAPS, bold, centered.
    • Sub-titles: Sentence case, bold.
    • Author’s name: Small capitals, centered.
    • Footnotes: Times New Roman, 12-point, as per Indian Law Institute (ILI) citation style.
  • Abstract (max 300 words) with minimum 5 keywords must accompany the paper.
  • Papers must be original, unpublished work; plagiarism will lead to rejection.
  • Copyright of accepted papers will rest with Law Mantra.
  • File format: MS Word (2007/2010 preferred), single-column layout, justified margins.
  • Word limit: 4,000–10,000 words (including footnotes).

  • Registration Fee: ₹800 (Students)₹1200 (Faculty/Professionals/Research Scholars/Other).
  • Both author and co-author must register separately.
  • Only selected abstracts will be eligible for final registration.

  • Submission of Revised Paper: 10th January, 2026
  • Publication of Selected Paper: Notified Later on

Rules for the Presentation:

  • No abstract or full paper shall be accepted after the last date of submission respectively;
  • Participants/Paper Presenters have to register after the acceptance of abstract with payment of required fees;
  • For participation, registration is mandatory on confirmation of the participation. Only registered participants will be allowed to take part in Conference;
  • All the registered participants will be provided a participation certificate;
  • Event will be hosted through Zoom/Cisco-Webex or any other Online Platform.;
  • Technical Session will be organized through Google Meet/ Zoom/Cisco- Webex or any other Online Platform.
