What Is The Arnold Ventures Criminal Justice Innovation Fellowships?

The Arnold Ventures Criminal Justice Innovation Fellowships will support post-doctoral fellows conducting research to improve criminal justice practices. Fellows will receive salaries and benefits and can reside in the US or abroad. To secure more effective and equitable criminal justice practices, they need to innovate and evaluate new policy solutions that can be adopted by local, state, and federal policy makers.

What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?

Eligibility: Fellows will need to received a Ph.D. no earlier than September 2019 and no later than September 2024.
Stipend: Fellows may reside in a location of their choosing. Fellows residing in the United States will receive salaries of $120,000 with full benefits and annual salary increases. Fellows may choose to reside outside of the United States and receive fellow fellowship stipends of $120,000.

- Research paper
- Contact information for three references
- Propose research agenda during the period of fellowship. The propose research agenda should be no longer than 5 pages (single spaced), and should propose a program of policy-relevant casual research designed to innovate and evaluate cost-effective and scalable policy solutions that advance the efficacy and equity of criminal justice practices.
