About Institute

Indore Institute of Law, established in the year 2003 for imparting Legal Education, is the only institute of its kind in Central India offering All Law courses under one roof with an object to provide qualitative and job oriented education.

Indore Institute of Law is recognized by The Bar Council of India, New Delhi and affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Indore (DAVV).

About the Competition

Indore Institute of Law is pleased to announce its First Chapter of International Drafting Competition: Master Draftsman, 2020 that is going to be conducted from 7th August 2020 to 9th August 2020. This competition is dedicated to negotiation and drafting skills for commercial contracts.

This is an excellent opportunity for the students to get exposure to international competition which focus on problem-solving and higher-order thinking skills.

Background of the Competition

In the time of global pandemic of Covid-19, Quality education is need of the hour. The focus should be on shaping the young minds to develop critical, logic and critical, logical and analytical thinking.

Through this competition they can be acquainted with that Commercial Contract is not only a piece of paper but also create responsibilities, conditions, manner, time limit, and monetary issues so that every corner of the contract is properly covered failing which may result to unforeseen losses.

This competition focuses on skills of students to negotiate and to bring novelty in drafting skills for commercial contracts.

Eligibility

• Undergraduate students pursuing five-year or three-year courses of law course or any postgraduate student (pursuing LL.M) from any Law School/ College/University recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• The competition is also open to students pursuing a law degree from any International University.
• Only one team of a single member is allowed to participate in each institution.
• Only first 30 teams will be allowed for participation on the basis of first come first serve.

Registration Details

The participants have to pay the registration fee of Rs. 500/- (in words Rupees Five Hundred Only). In any case, the registration fee is non-refundable.
