About the Conference:

The XIV Edition of the International Students’ Conference will bring together students, faculty, academicians, and researchers from across the globe to deliberate on pressing issues at the intersection of law, technology, and human rights.

This year’s theme, “World Peace Through Law: Reimagining IHL and the Future of AI in Armed Conflict”, focuses on:

  • Algorithmic accountability in warfare
  • Climate-induced displacement and refugee protection
  • Digital evidence in war crimes prosecution
  • Neutrality and impartiality in IHL
  • Economic and material costs of war

The conference aims to provide a platform for intellectual exchange, critical debate, and collaborative learning with experts and stakeholders in the field.


About the Centre for IHL & HR:

The Centre fosters a research-oriented and intellectually engaging platform for students, responding to contemporary challenges in humanitarian and human rights law. It is one of twelve research centres at the Institute of Law, Nirma University, dedicated to advancing excellence in legal education and scholarship.
