Who Is The Organiser?

IMS Unison University Dehradun, a constituent of Unison Group has made fast strides in the horizon of education as a premier educational and research University. IMS Unison University formerly Institute of Management Studies, is a private university located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. It offers academic programs at undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral levels in different streams of Management, Mass Communication, Law, Hospitality Management and Liberal Arts. It provides a setting that encourages study and sparks creativity while nestled in lovely and peaceful surroundings. It aims to provide a holistic career-oriented education that develops intellectual, moral, and physical capabilities of the students, nurturing, creativity, and innovation.

Abhivyakti, The Literary Club of IMS Unison University, wants to inspire a new generation of people who are passionate about mastering the art of public speaking and participating in literary tournaments, establishing standards by enhancing their natural skills. The organization encourages its members to develop into people of virtues who are assiduous,devoted, have a sense of teamwork, are morally and socially responsible, and are sensitive to social, national, and humanitarian concerns. It has consistently worked to create a setting where literary excellence is both encouraged and developed.

Abhivyakti: The Literary Club of IMS Unison University is organising its first Inter-University Literature Festival, UDGAAR,” on September 9, 2023, which involves a series of events. UDGAAR is set to create a platform for learning, creative activities, engagement, and innovation for students coming from different universities and colleges in India.

What Are The Details Of The Event?

• Date of the event: 9th September 2023
• Type of events:
  • Kalamkaar – Creative Writing
  • Cinematique – Film Review
  • Tarq – Debate
  • Unfiltered – Open Mic
  • Jigyasa – Quiz
• Mode of Competition: It shall be held in Offline mode.
• Venue: IMS unison University, Makkawala Green Mussoorie Diversion Road, Dehradun Uttarakhand 248009
• Eligibility: The competition is open for all the students enrolled in UG, PG or PhD programs of any affiliated university or colleges.
• Registration form: CLICK HERE to do the registration.
• Registration fees: There is no Registration Fee. Participants can participate in as many events as they want to.
• Dates and Deadlines:
  • The last date of registration and sending video clips for Preliminary Round for Tarq (Debate) and Unfiltered (Open Mic) is 1 st September 2023.
  • The last date of registration for Kalamkaar (Creative Writing), Jigyasa (Quiz) and Cinematique (Film Review) is 7 th September 2023.
  • On the Spot registration is also available for these events (except Tarq and Unfiltered) between 10 am -11 am on 9 th September 2023.

  • Tarq – The Debate Competition: 12:00 PM – 01:00 PM

  • Jigyasa – The Quiz Competition: 02:00 PM – 03:00 PM
