The Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences (UPSIFS), Lucknow invites applications for the post of Assistant Professor (Law) on a contractual basis in the School of Law, Forensic Justice & Policy Studies.
Position Details:
- Post: Assistant Professor (Law)

- Nature of Appointment: Contractual, temporary, need‑based
Specializations Required:
Candidates must demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following domains:
- Cyber and Information Technology Law
- Criminal Law
- Corporate and Commercial Law
- Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
- Constitutional Law
- Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Law with 60% marks or above (or equivalent grade).
- Ph.D. in relevant/concerned/allied subjects is mandatory.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- NET or equivalent test accredited by UGC.
- Research publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
- Strong academic record in the specified domains.
Remuneration:
- Selected candidates will be paid as per UGC pay scale (Basic + DA consolidated).
- No additional benefits such as HRA will be provided.
