Position Overview:

DAU invites applications for faculty positions in the domain of ESG, Carbon Markets, and Sustainability Law. These roles are designed to strengthen teaching, research, and policy engagement in climate finance and sustainability.

Available Positions:

• Assistant Professor of Law
• Associate Professor of Law

Location:

India

Deadline:

April 19, 2026

Compensation:

• Assistant Professor: Up to INR 24 Lakhs per annum
• Associate Professor: Up to INR 36 Lakhs per annum

Role & Academic Engagement:

Selected faculty members will contribute to:

• Teaching in LL.M., Ph.D., and Executive Education programmes
• Designing curriculum in ESG & Sustainability Law, Climate Change Law, and Carbon Markets
• Publishing research in academic and policy forums
• Mentoring postgraduate and doctoral students
• Collaborating with industry, regulators, and international organisations

Eligibility Criteria:

Assistant Professor:

• Strong academic credentials in Law
• Demonstrated interest in ESG and sustainability

Associate Professor:

• Ph.D. in Law (mandatory)
• Established research profile

Preferred Profile:

• Graduates from top QS-ranked universities
• Interdisciplinary expertise (Law + Policy / Finance / Environment)
• Prior teaching, consulting, or policy experience

Additional Benefits:

• Research grant up to INR 2 Lakhs per annum
• Consulting opportunities with revenue sharing (80:20 model)
• Exposure to global academic and policy ecosystems
