About the Course:

The Cyber Security & Digital Forensics Programme is designed to address the growing challenges of cybercrime and digital evidence in today’s technology-driven world.

This interdisciplinary course combines law, technology, and forensic science, offering participants practical exposure to real-world case studies, investigation tools, and courtroom presentation of digital evidence.

  • Regulation of Cyberspace: Cryptography, encryption, firewalls, privacy, digital signatures, and emerging challenges.
  • Emerging Technologies: IoT, AI, machine learning, blockchain, cryptocurrency, cloud computing, Web 3, and dark web.
  • Types of Cyber Crimes: Hacking, phishing, malware, ransomware, cyber stalking, cyber bullying, pornography, laundering, betting, privacy violations, data theft, and cyber terrorism.
  • Cyber Crime Investigation: Cyber crime cells, reporting, and investigation workflows.
  • Electronic Evidence Retrievals: Cyber forensic lifecycle, digital storage media, and electronic evidence analysis.
  • Legislative Framework: Judicial response and admissibility of electronic evidence under IT Act, BNS, BSA, BNSS, POCSO, and DPDA.
