About the Conference:

C-DEXT 2026 is an international academic discourse focusing on the legal, regulatory, ethical, and governance challenges posed by rapidly evolving digital and exponential technologies. With a special emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), the conference brings together scholars, judges, policymakers, industry professionals, and researchers from India and abroad.

The event aims to foster comparative and interdisciplinary dialogue on technology regulation while promoting rights-oriented and innovation-friendly approaches to governance in the digital age.


Conference Theme:

“Law, Algorithm and Accountability: Governance of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Critical Sectors”

AI and ML are transforming decision-making in healthcare, transport, finance, and law enforcement. This theme critically examines accountability, transparency, safety, bias, and rights protection in algorithmic governance.

III. Algorithmic Finance & Digital TrustAI in banking & finance – transparency, bias, systemic risk, consumer protection.
IV. Algorithmic Authority & Due ProcessAI in law enforcement & judiciary – predictive policing, surveillance, due process, fundamental rights.

Call for Papers:

  • Eligibility: Students, academicians, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry professionals.
  • Abstracts:
    • Length: 300–500 words
    • Must include: research problem, objectives, methodology, key arguments, expected findings
    • Keywords: 5–6
    • Format: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing

  • Full Papers:
    • Length: 3,500–5,000 words (excluding references)
    • Must align with conference themes
    • Format: Times New Roman, headings 14 pt bold, body 12 pt, OSCOLA citation style
    • Plagiarism: Similarity index ≤ 15% (mandatory report submission)

  • Publication: Selected papers will be published in the Journal of Exponential Technologies – Law and Governance (JETLAG).
  • Awards: Best Paper Awards under each theme (minimum 10 submissions per theme).

About JETLAG:

The Journal of Exponential Technologies – Law and Governance (JETLAG) is a peer-reviewed academic journal by KLE Law College. It provides a platform for research on AI, ML, autonomous systems, and digital infrastructures, focusing on accountability, ethics, and rights protection.
