About the Organisation and Course

Symbiosis International Deemed University was established under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, in the year 2002, Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar established Symbiosis on the principles of Vedic thought of “World as One Family” and is resplendent of the activities and students of several countries.

The University also has MOU’s of collaboration with several renowned universities of the world and encourages students & faculty to participate in its programmes. It was given “Deemed to be University” status by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2002 also re-accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘A’ and CGPA of 3.58 on a four-point scale.

Since its inception, Symbiosis has grown into a large education group with schools and colleges spread across India. Symbiosis has thousands of students from all across India and 80 countries studying in various on-campus programs.

One of its Campuses includes Nagpur Campus situated at Wathoda, Nagpur. Symbiosis Campus at Nagpur has the “State of Art Infrastructure” with remarkable facilities for its students. The pollution-free premises of SLS Nagpur have an abundance of open space and an impressive array of academic, sports and cultural facilities
